Restaurant-Check: Terrazza Dama at the Boscolo Milano, Milan

f you want a wonderful view over Milano and the whole duomo, then you have to have dinner at the newly opened Terrazza Dama at the top floor of the Hotel Boscolo Milano. Upon arriving at the top floor of the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by a young waiter and were seated directly at the front row.

The amouse bouche consisted of mashed peas topped with grilled octopus and served with a fresh white wine from Tuscany.

A real treat was the first course: a mango-avocado chutney with pieces of lobster :-). One of the best and freshest combinations we've ever eaten.

Ricotta gnocchi with gently roasted foie gras and ravioli filled with a ricotta truffle sauce plus slices of fresh black truffles accompanied by a fruity and typical Italian white wine - can't have been any better.

As we decided to go for a light dinner that evening, we skipped the fish and meat and directly went forward with the sweet dish.

The dessert, a dark chocolate ball filled with chocolate-orange mousse and garnished with kind of sweet pesto and greated nuts, as well as semi-frozen of yoghurt filled with peaces of lemon and served with fresh strawberries. These extraordinary dishes were served with a sweet champagne by Pommery. What a lovely combination!
